It truly is amazing that we are 30 books in and this series is still going strong as ever! Each one is a fun, fated-mate trope filled romp, that's a nice escape for a few hours. Magnus and Allie made for a delightful couple, and I thoroughly enjoyed their progression together. A lot of this series feels a bit formulaic and yet, it works perfectly, never once getting dull. With these books, you know exactly what you are getting, and it's fun to see each new couple's twist on things. IMMORTAL BORN returns to a favorite setting from previous books as well as some much loved characters making a return. A long running plotline comes front and center as well with a satisfying resolution, making for a well rounded read.

All in all, IMMORTAL BORN was another delightfully fun romp in this long running series that I greatly enjoyed. Here's to hopefully many more Argeneaus!

In the Argeneau series, it’s always interesting to see the heroine’s (and sometimes the hero if he is the mortal one) reaction to the reality of immortals and life mates. This time around she knew about immortals, but the life mate part came as quite a bit of a surprise. To say their first interactions went a bit rocky is a hilarious understatement. Santo acted no better than a gruff brute, infuriating Pet to no end. It was rather amusing seeing him attempt to civilize himself and woo her. Meanwhile while all of the romance hijinks were going on, there was a larger plot and threat against them making for a balanced and engrossing read. I really enjoy books that balance a strong romance, but don’t forget to add decent focus to a strong plot. Don’t get me wrong, I love romance just as much as the next gal, but when I’m in the mood for more, adding a great plot sells it for me. And THE TROUBLE WITH VAMPIRES more than delivered.

If you enjoy paranormal romance, and a long running series that is guaranteed to entertain, the Argeneau series is a perfect choice. Twenty-nine books in and this series is still going incredibly strong. I really look forward to each new release and THE TROUBLE WITH VAMPIRES was no exception. All in all, a fantastically entertaining read, fans of the series will be more than pleased.

VAMPIRES LIKE IT HOT was a fun tropical romp that felt more lighthearted than some of the most recent releases in this series. Don't get me wrong, this entire series has plenty of humor, but this one was more on the lighter side, and I really enjoyed every hilarious moment of it. The "vampirates" were nothing short of hilarious, especially the captain, one of our trusty heroine's potential life mate. That's right TWO lifemates for our heroine, Jess nothing easy or straight forward here with Raffaele Notte playing a white knight role as the other lifemate. But getting back to the captain, he's crude and greasy, but oh so outlandishly hilarious in the way he speaks to Jess. Honestly he's everything you'd expect from a vampirate.

The premise of the story is largely a cat and mouse in each of the potential lifemate men trying to keep Jess from the other. It became quite comical at times and perhaps a little eye roll worthy at the heroines ability to make a few rather poor decisions in order to further the white knight plot despite being level headed at others. But we can't always be on the top our game I guess. That being said it was pretty obvious from the start who she'd end up with, but that didn't detract from the story at all. The steamier scenes are absolutely delectable and fit the story perfectly.

All in all, VAMPIRES LIKE IT HOT is a fun filled romp that kept me laughing the entire book. If you are looking for a humor filled, steamy read, this book is for you.

After twenty-seven books you would wonder if things are going to start gettting stale. But after reading TWICE BITTEN, I can assure you this series is still as strong as ever. Not only were the characters and romance fantastic, it was an absolute hoot too boot. I can't count how many times while reading it that I cracked up laughing out loud.

I absolutely adored Elspeth's character. She's had to endure so much from her overbearing mother it was utterly insane. I wanted to reach through the pages and strangle that woman so many times, it's not funny. In fact it was impressive how humorous the book was in spite of how awful the mother was. So for Elspeth to have been such a strong character in the face of that opposition was nothing short of incredible, and I loved her all the more for it. And the hero, Wyatt? He was put through an incredible lot himself in a short time, but he took it all in stride. The two of them were very well paired.

If you are looking for fun read that's full of heat, humor, and high stakes, TWICE BITTEN is the book for you. I love the Argeneau books, and all I can say is keep them coming!

Typically it's the romances that are the show stopper in the Argeneau books, but this time around it was the plot. Boy oh boy did this one have a whole lot going on, and the danger left me guessing at every turn. I'll admit that most of the time I'm THAT PERSON who figures out 'whodunit right away. But this time I had no clue, even right up until the very end. Very impressive!

Now onto why the romance was just not quite as strong as other Argeneau books. I have to admit I was not a fan of Scotty at first, or even most of the book. His reasons for not claiming Beth as his mate, well let's just say they more than a little ticked me off. His judgement was so far unfair and snobbish, it didn't sit well with me considering how awesome Beth was and how much of a survivor she is. His only saving grace that left me holding out hope was that he didn't really realize it was HIS hold ups, not hers. So everything he did to try and protect her but stay away from her came from good intentions but for the very very wrong reasons. It's a romance novel so I don't feel like it's a spoiler to say he realized his mistake by the end and got his head out his behind. All I can say is thank goodness! Because Beth deserved someone better than the Scotty we met on page one, and I'm happy with the one we found on the last page. But don't worry, in true Argeneau style, she gives him a run for his money throughout and he doesn't have an easy path. *g*

All in all I enjoyed this latest installment in the very long running Argengeau series and I can't wait to read more!

I really enjoyed reading IMMORTAL UNCHAINED. Books with the fated mates trope are always a favorite of mine, and this spun things up a bit. Domitian met his destined mate, Sarita when she was much too young for him, and has been quietly keeping tabs on her since. Then despite his instincts, he didn't even jump to "claim" her the moment she became of age, but still waited until she had time to live her life first. Of course the whole fate thing always is a bit tricky and he meets her earlier than he expected in the most unfortunate way, bringing in a second trope of forced proximity. And boy did that bring an interesting twist. Sarita gets one heck of a crash course on the Immortals, and I was amazed at how well this firecracker took everything. Her sassiness made for the perfect compliment to Domitian and boy did she give him a run for his money. Add in all the danger and craziness of the plot, and you have a heck of a read.

What better endorsement can I give this book other than to simply say it's the 25th book in the series and I am still completely hooked. Every book is full of romantic fun with a lot of humor, a bit of sass, and always some danger to spice things up, and IMMORTAL UNCHAINED was no exception. Definitely a favorite in the Paranormal Romance genre, the Argeneau series, is not to be missed!

I'm not sure what better to say in this review other than 24 books in the series and I'm still hooked. Need I really say more? Anything else I can say doesn't even close to the ringing endorsement that does. It truly is an amazing feat to keep a series going that long successfully. In fact I've binge read all 24 books over the past few weeks, so honestly that's even more impressive. As I finished each book, I immediately wanted the next one. Of course this is paranormal romance and all by the same author in the same world, so yes some of the relationship aspects do feel a bit formulaic at times. However, that does not hinder things one little bit. In fact, I quite enjoy Lynsay Sands almost set romance progression, as it leaves much more room for the side angles and plot lines. The romance parts are quite enjoyable, but they are ensured so I feel like they don't weigh things down at all leaving space to focus on what's going on around the couple. I always enjoy the plotlines, and how real the threats feel in this series, and IMMORTAL NIGHTS is no exception.

Tomasso and Abs make a really great pair. He's so brusque and a man of few words, and she's a full blown babbler at times. I found it to be a good balance between the two. There's also a lot of humor in this one, both between Tomasso and Abs, as well as the side characters/surrounding events. This really helped to keep the story light despite some of the threats being darker than some of the previous we've seen. Add that to the electric chemistry between Tomasso and Abs, and it made for a well balanced and a very enjoyable read over all.

If you enjoy paranormal romance and a very long running series that shows no sign of going stale, IMMORTAL NIGHTS is the perfect afternoon read for you. I can't wait to see what happens next!
