It's Monday! What are you reading (19)

, by Kt Clapsadl

It's Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

Here's what I read this past week:

Dead Witch Walking (Rachel Morgan, Book 1)The Good, the Bad, and the Undead (The Hollows, Book 2)Every Which Way But Dead (The Hollows, Book 3)

Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison (Re-read)
The Good, The Bad, and the Undead by Kim Harrison (Re-read)
Every Which Way But Dead by Kim Harrison (Re-read)

I'm kind of in a reading funk right now. I've read a lot of YA lately and it's become a little over whelming. So many of the books seem so similar, and the love triangle theme is driving me nuts. So I decided to read some adult books for a while. Trouble was that I couldn't find any adult books that peaked my interest either. So, I decided to re-read one of my favorite series, The Hollows, by Kim Harrison. Rachel Morgan is probably one my top favorite heroines because shes strong, but so fragile at the same time. Shes a kick ass ditzy red head and when you add her character to the other great ones in the series, they make for awesome books. They are just the cure I need to get out of this funk.

My upcoming list:

A Fistful of Charms by Kim Harrison (Re-read)
For a Few Demons More by Kim Harrison (Re-read)
The Outlaw Demon Wails by Kim Harrison (Re-read)

I love this series, and this week I'm just going to continue on re-reading the next few books this week. If you haven't read this series, I recommend it very highly. You'll love it!

  1. I had a chance to meet Kim Harrison last Spring and get Black Magic Sanction signed. I put it away to read later and by now is buried in the TBR stack. I should really dig it out because I like Rachel Morgan too. My Monday Report is here. Happy reading!
