It's Monday! What are you reading (22)

, by Kt Clapsadl

It's Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

Here's what I read this past week:

Afterlight: The Dark Ink ChroniclesHard Magic (Luna Books)Pack of Lies (Luna Books)

Afterlight by Elle Jasper (Review)
Hard Magic by Laura Anne Gilman (Review)
Pack of Lies by Laura Anne Gilman (Review to come close to the release date)

I finally read Afterlight. I've been dying to since I first saw the cover, and for one reason or another it kept being pushed down the list. I really enjoyed it and I'm glad it lived up to the cover. I also started a new series, Paranormal Scene Investigations. I'll be honest that the first book was really hard for me to get through, but the second was so much better. I really enjoyed it, and it made me very eager to continue the series. It's just a matter of wait for the next book to come out.

On a side note, I'm going to be posting no more than 2-3 reviews on here a week, no matter how many I do. I'm on winter break from college now, so I'm trying to get a bunch of reading a reviews written and scheduled in advance for next semester. I'm taking more classes than normal so I can finish and graduate at the end of the semester. So, between that and the kids, I have a feeling my reading and reviewing is going to suffer. So hopefully over this break I'll be able to get a bunch done in preparation so the blog doesn't slack off too much. *crosses fingers*

My upcoming list:

Counterfeit Magic by Kelley Armstrong
My Soul to Steal by Rachel Vincent
