Rosalie Lario Interview & Giveaway

, by Kt Clapsadl

Today on the blog, I'm welcoming Rosalie Lario as part of her blog tour for the print release of Blood of the Demon. I haven't had a chance to read this book, but it sure looks entertaining. I'll definitely be adding it to my to read list! Visit Entangled in Romance to see the rest of the tour stops.

1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I am the paranormal romance author of the award-winning Demons of Infernum series and the Fallen Warriors series. I write about tough but good-hearted demons and sexy-as-sin angels. :)

2. I love when the good and evil roles are blurred in books. Yum! If your book were to made into a movie who would be your top picks for the cast?

Ooh, I love this question! For BLOOD OF THE DEMON, I would have to go with Tom Welling (of the CW’s Smallville fame) in the lead role of the hero, Keegan. To me he is the perfect embodiment of the strong, silent type, and that describes Keegan to a T. I envision someone like Rebecca Gayheart as the heroine Brynn. She’s got the perfect blend of vulnerability and strength, and I find that quite intriguing.

 3. Very nice choices! What are some of your favorite books in the paranormal genre?

I’m a huge romance buff. My favorite authors are Jeaniene Frost with her Night Huntress series, Karen Moning with her Highlander series, and Teresa Medeiros, who mostly writes historical romance but who penned one of my favorite vampire novels ever, After Midnight.

4. Oh my goodness, I absolutely adore Jeaniene Frost. In fact if I only could pick one book series to read for the rest of my life, her books would hands down take the cake. (Thank goodness I don't actually have to make that choice because there are so many other awesome books out there that I would miss out on!) What is the craziest or at least most interesting thing you have ever done?

I can’t admit to the craziest thing (lol), so I’ll say it was going for a clandestine swim in the Atlantic Ocean at four o’clock in the morning...sans all those pesky clothes.

5. Ah the joys of those skinny dipping escapes. Gotta love them. Finish this statement: "You'll like Blood of the Demon if.."

You love quick-thinking supernatural heroes with a touch of Alpha who aren’t afraid to take action. Think Supernatural meets The Mummy with hot, half-demon brothers and lots of steamy romance!

Thank you so much for visiting today Rosalie!

Author Info:

Formally trained as a corporate and real estate lawyer, I practiced law for 5 years before finally admitting to myself that negotiating contracts wasn’t nearly as fun as dreaming up stories. As an avid reader of romances and supernatural stories, I knew I wanted to write urban fantasy and paranormal romance. Tales of vampires, demons, and other supernatural beings ensued.

I’m currently working on the Demons of Infernum series, a series of paranormal romance novels featuring four sexy half-demon brothers and their reluctant heroines.

When not writing, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son in our home state of Florida, as well as searching out things that go bump in the night. I still haven’t found any, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

If I ever do find evidence of the supernatural, it remains to be seen whether I’ll jump around in excitement, or run screaming in terror (but I’m betting on the latter)!
