Monday Wrapup (168)

, by Kt Clapsadl

It's Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

Reviews for the past week:

Frozen by Melissa de La Cruz and Michael Johnston (Early Review)
"I'll admit that the world building left me scratching my head at times, but that could largely be due to there being so much going on at once. You have a post-apocalyptic setting, with a dystopian government in power, along with magically marked people reminiscent of the fae, and a mythical world that is supposed to border alongside ours."

The Iron Traitor by Julie Kagawa (Early Review)
"Fans of the series will be more than pleased with this conclusion. Blood Bond, and the rest of the previous installments have earned a solid place on my keeper shelf."

Kirsten's Book of the Week:

Wicked Bronze Ambition by Glen Cook (Review)
"New villains, mystery, and the personal drama of a personal life and what might be a plot thread for future books, that being potentially working for the Prince make up the story, and it’s one that has plenty of action. But, at times it feels a bit jumbled, and new fans would be advised to start with an earlier book to avoid being confused or longing for a black and white adaptation to air on television. "
