Monday Wrapup (169)

, by Kt Clapsadl

It's Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

Reviews for the past week:

Waterfell by Amalie Howard (Early Review)
"This isn't your ordinary mermaid book. It's that and so much more, you just can't compare it to anything else. The world building is rather impressive, and despite the complicated web that was weaved in the world building, it never once became overwhelming. When you combine that with the fantastic cast of characters, WATERFELL was one heck of a read, that I'm very glad I didn't let the selfish narrator turn me off from. I'll definitely be checking out the next installment."

Archangel's Legion by Nalini Singh (Early Review)
"With a hot romance full of incredible tension, a stellar cast of characters that you can really get behind, intense action and a kick ass plot, I couldn't possibly rate ARCHANGEL'S LEGION any higher. "

Kirsten's Book of the Week:

The Crown Tower by Michael J. Sullivan (Review)
"For anybody who has read the other books in the series, this may feel like a welcome addition to the world building, but for newer readers, Hadrian and Royce feel shakily written at times. Hadrian’s aforementioned naïveté is taken too far so that he appears much less intelligent than he is, and Royce’s penchant for violence without thought should have gotten him thrown in prison long before the story began."
