It's Monday! What are you reading (40)

, by Kt Clapsadl

It's Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

Here's what I read this past week:

Angelfire (Angelfire - Trilogy)Magic on the Hunt (Allie Beckstrom, Book 6)Firewalker (Stormwalker, Book 2)Stormwalker (Stormwalker Series, Book 1)

Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton (Review)
Magic on the Hunt by Devon Monk (Review)
Firewalker by Allyson James (Review)
Stormwalker by Allyson James (Review)

I read Angelfire, Courtney Allison Moulton's YA debut. I enjoyed the book, but a lot of it frustrated me. The most frustrating aspect was the reasoning behind the tension and "forbidding" aspect of the two main characters trying to be together. I just didn't find their allow that reason to actually keep them apart. I'm really hoping that changes in the next book.

Magic on the Hunt, the latest release in the Allie Beckstrom series was everything I have come to expect from Devon Monk's books. There was plenty of danger and action and there were many revelations in this book. I feel like everything has been winding up and this book things to the very edge. I have a feeling things will be stepped up even further now that the stakes have been majorly raised.

Finally I read the first two books in the Stormwalker series. I really love the two main characters and their chemistry and sexual tension is off the charts. If you like urban fantasies that are also full of romance and steaminess, then you won't want to miss these. I mean how can you go wrong with dragon shifters?

My upcoming list:

Rush of Wings by Adrian Phoenix
In the Blood by Adrian Phoenix
Beneath the Skin by Adrian Phoenix
Etched in Bone by Adrian Phoenix
