Monday Wrapup (174)

, by Kt Clapsadl

It's Monday! What Are You Reading, hosted by Book Journey, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.

Reviews for the past week:

Flamebound by Tessa Adams (Review)
"FLAMEBOUND was an absolute roller coaster of emotions and action. It was incredibly intense, and it's honestly a wonder that I have fingernails left. The highs, although far and few between as this was a pretty dark book, left me soaring, while that darkness I spoke of was devastating."

Sins of the Lost by Linda Poitevin (Mini Review)
"I won't be giving this one a rating as I think my own mood and my skimming could quite possibly give an unfairly low rating. Based on other ratings I've looked at, it looks like this book has largely been enjoyed, so I'd have to say that if you are a fan of the series, then it's definitely worth checking out, and don't let my difficulties scare you off. "

Kirsten's Book of the Week:

Chasers by James Phelan (Review)
"The story feels very slow paced, and at times drags on. Since this is the first book in the series, it works at setting the stage for more action, and hopefully the sequel provides that in excess. Chasers offers a post-apocalyptic world where isolation is the norm and the cost of survival is weighed against a need for companionship."
